I use to do lots of woodwork, but now only do the paintings, clay, carvings, and casting metal. I only have the woodworking tools (which I have greatly scaled down) for pattern making and such. I have seen a few who do both, I’m sure the two messes together would be a bit overwhelming!
My granddaughter. I make a cradle for each grandchild and then the family can pass them down to each generation – I hope. I am weeeeelll beyond children!
I’m very glad that my hubby has his workshop (mostly woodworking) in the garage away from my clay stuff. Although the clay also makes a lot of dust, it is easier to clean up that wood (or metal!).
Tell me about dust! I just planed down 15/16″ thick rough oak to 1/2″!! 35 gallons of wood chips! If I did raku, I’d be in pig heaven. I’m making a cradle.
Great ideas on tools!
Yes, I’m not quite at the stage where I have a home for everything, I know that will happen as I start to make some pieces. From the construction of the refractory heat shield and hood, not to mention the dust from making the wheel, I’m still trying to just clean up all of the dust!

Hmmmmmmmmm
Nahhhhh. Not falling for that one! If it is a big secret, message me. I pride myself on being a great secret-keeper!

How about a giant hamster?

Which begs the question – who’s the cradle for?

And I thought _I_ had a lot of tools laying around! Hehe!
