Hugh Wolfe is an artist; he makes statues from the waste of the iron in the mill.

From the perspective of his co-workers, Hugh wasn’t a manly man, sometimes they called him “Molly Wolfe” due to his girly face and meek manner. He was considered a misfit who rarely hung out with the rough tough guys from the mill. He was slight of build and the other workers had little trouble handling him in a fight. Hugh danced to his own ‘tune’ and the other workers knew it – he just wasn’t like them. Hugh wasn’t afraid to let his perceived weirdness surface, for instance while at work, he often spent his rest-time in the creative art of sculpturing metal while ignoring the derision of his dense co-workers.
