Birmingham Alabama – HAs anyone ever been to The thrift store at the Foundry?
I want to go It is in Bessemer. I’ve tried going but wasn’t sure I got there correctly. Is it worth the trip? What are the quality of the items? and what are the prices for clothing – like children’s or babies or men’s pants. Also do they sell toys?

There is a chain of stores in my region, the northwest coast,
called Value Village. It is all donated goods priced to sell quickly. I shop there for disposable clothing that I can soil and tear in caves while not paying the prices that Sears or
Wal-Mart might charge. The clothing all smells strongly of a scented soap or dry cleaning. Sizes run up to triple X. Most of it looks either new or good enough to pass. Adult wear is
usually priced at two dollars for tees, four dollar shirts and sweats, six dollar jeans and synthetics, eight dollar silk wear,
and up to twenty five for banker attire and outlaw biker togs.
Toys, yes, but October grim reaper selection is to die for.
