I had a similar rig and it melted some iron by accident
It is indeed. Extremely simple design – just a bunch of firebrick as refractory, stacked up with a blower and some charcoal.
Hey nice job! I’m guessing its the rig you outlined on the forums and a continuous blower? I just did something like that too w/ a shop vac and it’s super hot! u know what i mean! plz visit us more often on ABYMC – we’re always looking for more enthusiasts and expertise! [Spacebot]
