Im building a propane foundry and i would like to know what kind of burner would be best.?
I have been doing a little research on what kind of burner to use and i really can’t deside. I will be mostly be melting aluminum but will do brass every now and then. What burner will best for me. Also i need to know mounting and building instructions.

Home Foundry Burner
This is a proto-type burner I have been messing around with. It’s dual fuel (LP/Waste Oil). It will run on either one without modification. Since it’s a proto-type it needs a lot of cleaning up. The final version will have a metal waste oil container mounted to the foundry and the oil feed lines will be permanantly attached. This has been a lot of experimenting with different pressures and configurations. I will say this, waste oil burns a lot hotter than propane. I’m still learning. Stay tuned.
