Term in Continous Casting?

Metal Casting
Doug Means asked:

When Contious Casting of steel (and probably other metals) you are interested in increasing the speed of the casting. When doing that too much, the firm shell of the steel flow becomes to thin to withstand the pressure from the still liquid core and the slab/pre-slab start to bulge. What is the term for this phenomena? I have heard the word “Moby Dick” being used, but that is to shop-floorish for my need…. Anyone?
